The California poppy, pictured above, is cropping up everywhere here. That's how I know Spring is on its way. But, it's not just the wildflowers that are so impressive. It's also the shades of green that blanket the hillsides this time of year. As many of you know, California has been in a serious drought for several years. Even so, when we get even the slightest bit of rain, the once brown-grey-beige fields and hills start to turn green. It's as if, all along, these tiny little buds - that have everything they need to make their entrance - are just waiting for that final sprinkling of moisture to present themselves. How might we apply that to our lives? What are we waiting for? The courage to take the next step? Maybe just a little more trust that everything will be just fine. =)
