Bio, long

Debbie Jenae is a child abuse survivor, advocate, award-winning author, and master handwriting analyst with a passion for increasing understanding of human behavior and potential. She founded Inspired 101 as a resource for positive action, advocacy, and healing and produces its monthly newsletter, Inspired 101 News. Debbie has published two books: If Roses Were Blue (2017) — an inspiring tale of courage, trust, and friendship for ages 8 and above that includes her hand-drawn illustrations, and Be An Inspiration! based on her list of 101 Things You Can Do To Prevent Child Abuse (2013) — an uplifting collection of ideas and resources for survivors, caregivers, and advocates of change. Her perspective is influenced by seven years as a court appointed child advocate (recognized by the Hawaii governor’s office for her dedication and commitment) as well as personal experience, study, and training in trauma and healing. Debbie credits much of her passion for understanding human behavior and potential to her study of handwriting analysis. She holds a Master Certification in Graphoanalysis, was named Graphoanalyst of the Year 2015, and has been involved in the field of handwriting analysis for more than 40 years. Through her columns Write On! and Handwriting@Work she has published more than 300 articles on character and personality to offer encouragement and insight. Her interests span the alternatives - mind-body medicine, metaphysics, Native American spirituality, and handwriting analysis - because they were all an integral part of her healing. She shares this journey from quiet survivor to public speaker with honesty and insight, empowering her audience with a unique perspective and call to action. She lives in California’s Santa Ynez Valley.
